Welcome to Huntington's Lights On

Welcome to Huntington's Lights On

Welcome to your Lights On After School Page.  This is the place to tell the community what we did at the Lights On Afterschool event, and to keep in touch with other Lights On Afterschool teams.

Turn the LIGHTS ON! Our Lights On Celebration started with our participants writing essays about what Afterschool means to them. After completing essays, participants and parents decorated light bulbs that were displayed in our lobby. Following the art piece, our children participated in a fencing demo led by Coach Dan of Have Blade Will Travel Fencing. For the closing, Our participants performed the "Lights On" song that was created at our center.

  • Hello Huntington, my name is Luna, I'm a young Great Horned Owl from Northern California, who is looking for classes to visit. Some of my owl friends are looking for organizations and after school programs, 1-5 grade, to visit. We bring 45 minute projects with us, and we stay for a week. Please let me know if one of my owl friends can visit you and learn about your community, and your stories. Thank you, Luna - luna@pnn.com
